Shamrock Wrestling Club wasn’t started by outsiders looking to sell classes in Fall River. It was founded by Andrew Fallon — a kid who grew up right here.
Andrew started wrestling at six years old. There was no wrestling club in Fall River at the time, so he traveled to Warren, Rhode Island just to train. That early commitment — that willingness to go the extra mile because he loved the sport — is the foundation Shamrock was built on.

By age 11, Andrew was the only Massachusetts wrestler — and one of only two from New England — to take first place at the Ohio Tournament of Champions in Columbus. The Herald News covered it. Fall River noticed.

From Durfee, Andrew went on to La Salle Academy where he won his first state championship — defeating a future NCAA Division III National Champion as a freshman. He later won a second state title and a New England Championship at Bishop Hendricken, then earned a full NCAA Division I athletic scholarship to American University in Washington, D.C.

Now Andrew is back. He built Shamrock Wrestling Club right across the bridge in Somerset so Fall River families finally have access to elite wrestling coaching without driving an hour. The club Fall River never had is now five minutes away.
Shamrock’s facility at 120 Slades Ferry Ave in Somerset is the first exit over the Braga Bridge. If you’re in Fall River, you’re already close. SRTA Bus Route #114 stops right at our door — first stop over the bridge from Fall River.
Andrew Fallon isn’t a hired coach from somewhere else. He grew up in Fall River, wrestled at Durfee, and competed at the highest levels of college wrestling. His coaching partner, Andrew Howard, is a two-time state champion, three-time New England placer, and NHSCA Senior All-American who came up through the same wrestling community. Your kids train under coaches with real credentials and local roots.
Shamrock is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. There are no investors, no franchise fees, and no shareholders. That’s how we offer elite coaching at $100/month unlimited — a price that works for Fall River families. Every dollar goes directly into developing wrestlers.
We don’t shut down after the school season ends. Shamrock runs structured practices year-round for youth through high school — so your child keeps building skills, strength, and confidence 12 months a year.

Our middle & high school program emphasizes advanced technique, live wrestling, strength and conditioning, and match strategy — all under coaches who’ve competed at the NCAA Division I level.
